Where Does Time Go?

Where does the time go? All my good intentions for doing an ongoing blog were left by the wayside when life gets busy. Filled with gratitude this summer season, it has been a great year so far.
A beautiful new granddaughter Callista Lee has joined our family. I could go on about her for pages but she truly is the most precious baby around. My oldest son Jeremiah will marry his beautiful Heather this Friday night. So exciting to have one my children getting married. Again, where does the time go!
Exciting things happening here at Fernlea. We have now created space to hold workshops in Past Life Regression, Angels, Reiki and Prosperity & Abundance. Keep an eye on the website for updates for classes.
Starting in September of this year we will also be offering Ionic Foot Cleansing and Reflexology and Reiki treatments. Photos and Bios on the practitioners will be posted on the website soon. After a rough year for all last year, Ingersoll continues to grow and prosperity begins again. The automotive industry is back in full swing and moving into expansion in this area. Ingersoll is on the map as Festival Town with great festivals throughout the year. Pay it Forward

Friday, September 25th was our 3rd annual "Pay it Forward" day at Fernlea Flowers. We offer everyone who comes in a dozen roses with 2 conditions. They agree to only keep one rose and give eleven to eleven different people. They also make a donation to Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Ingersoll/Tillsonburg. This year we raised close to $2,000.00 and it was as always an amazing day! We started this event as a living tribute to my friend Deb Hickey who crossed over July 4, 2007. She was a fabulous lady who taught me many things in a short period of time Her gift was her ability to use words in a profound way. She taught me the importance of facing your greatest fears and then letting go of them so that you can live in joy. She taught me to be my authentic self and to help everyone I could at every opportunity. She is the inspiration for this event and I know she's proud of the work we're doing here. People share stories with us on this day, often with tears and always with joy. I believe that Love, compassion & gratitude can change our world one person at a time. This day is always very humbling for me as I realize there is still so much to learn. We all have a story, a history, we face difficult times, joyous ones, things that happen to us that teach us incredible lessons if we want to learn them.
A lady I had never met came into my shop today, funny her name was also Deb. She came in when she saw all the angels and fairies in our storefront window. We spent 15 minutes talking, she shared her story and that of her family with me. I am grateful to her as I learned from her the importance of undying faith and family love. Just when you think you've learned the most important lessons I am humbled to realize I don't know much!! Thank you to both Deb's for the one thing you both had in common was courage in the face of true adversity. I feel honored to have shared time with both of you.
A very big thank you to all the volunteers from Big Brothers, you are all inspirational. My family, you are amazing, your love & support continue to overwhelm me. To Patti, a new friend, you are a blessing in light and love, thank you. To the boys of Endless Boundaries, Ned, Glen & Scott you guys are the best HUGGERS in the world!
To all who take the time to read this, now & always BLESSED BE
